Senior NetSuite Developer

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES include, but are not limited to, the following:

SuiteScript Development

• Maintain and extend existing SuiteScript 2.x customizations across the live NetSuite instance.
• Develop new scripts as required, including User Event, Client, Scheduled, RESTlet, Map/Reduce, and Suitelet scripts.
• Debug, remediate, and stabilize production script issues in a live ERP environment.

Qualifications:

• Graduate of a Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a similar field.
• Strong understanding of NetSuite modules such as Financials, CRM, Inventory, and OrderManagement.
• Solid understanding of accounting principles and financial workflows, including general ledger, accounts payable/receivable, fixed assets, and financial reporting.
• Experience supporting the finance team in month-end close, audit preparation, and compliance reporting using NetSuite.
• Familiarity with GAAP and IFRS standards and how they are applied within ERP systems.
• Ability to translate accounting requirements into system configurations, saved searches, and custom reports.
• Experience supporting ERP migrations or major system transitions.
• Proven experience with NetSuite Financials module in a multi-entity or multi-currency environment.

Experience and Certifications:

• 3+ years of experience as a NetSuite Administrator, ideally in a similar industry or company size.
• Experience with SuiteScript, SuiteFlow, and SuiteAnalytics.Preferably with NetSuite Administrator certification.
• A CPA or equivalent accounting certification is a plus

Technical or specific skills (e.g., technical, computer)

• Excellent verbal and written communication skills; able to collaborate across cross-functional and diverse teams.
• Proven ability to train and support non-technical users.
• Excellent Excel skills and familiarity with data import/export functions.
• Strong analytical thinking, attention to detail, and problem-solving skills.
