The Administrative Assistant I provides clerical, administrative, and payroll support to ensure efficient office operations. The role includes data encoding, payroll preparation assistance, record keeping, document processing, and coordination with employees and departments.
Key Responsibilities
- Prepare, process, and assist in employee payroll computations and timesheets.
- Maintain payroll records, attendance logs, and employee files.
- Perform accurate data encoding and data entry into company systems and spreadsheets.
- Assist in preparing reports, memos, invoices, and other office documents.
- Organize and file physical and electronic records.
- Answer phone calls, emails, and administrative inquiries.
- Coordinate office supplies and administrative requests.
- Support HR and accounting tasks as needed.
- Ensure confidentiality of payroll and employee information.
- Perform other administrative duties assigned by management.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree or vocational course in Business Administration, Office Administration, Accounting, or related field.
- Proven experience in payroll processing and data encoding.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office applications, especially Excel and Word.
- Knowledge of payroll systems and basic accounting procedures is an advantage.
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
- Ability to handle confidential information responsibly.
- Good communication and interpersonal skills.
- Can work independently and meet deadlines.
