TRAINING SUPERINTEDENT ( ENGINE)

We are seeking an experienced Chief Engineer to join our Training & Development team as a Training Superintendent (Engine). The role focuses on enhancing crew competence, ensuring regulatory compliance (STCW, MLC, TMSA/SIRE), and strengthening onboard safety culture across the fleet.

Key Responsibilities:

- Deliver onboard technical and safety training, drills, and competency assessments

- Identify training gaps and coach crew, including newly promoted officers

- Audit training records and ensure inspection readiness (Flag, Class, PSC, Vetting)

- Support safety culture, leadership development, and risk awareness onboard

- Provide structured feedback to office on crew performance and training needs

Requirements:

- Chief Engineer (Unlimited) with valid STCW

- Minimum 12 months as Chief Engineer

- Strong knowledge of marine compliance and training standards

- Training/assessment and audit experience preferred

- Excellent communication and leadership skills

-With relevant seagoing experience

-Prior experience in simulator training or instruction is an advantage

-Proficient in computer applications and simulation systems
