Quality Control Associate

Job Summary

The Quality Control (QC) Staff is responsible for monitoring and ensuring compliance with operational standards, identifying process gaps, investigating service failures, and implementing corrective actions to improve the quality and efficiency of logistics operations.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Logistics, Industrial Engineering, or any related field.
• Preferably with experience in logistics, warehousing, courier services, or quality assurance.
• Knowledge of quality control processes and operational audits is an advantage.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office applications, especially Excel.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent communication and report-writing skills.
• Detail-oriented and able to work under pressure.
• Willing to travel and conduct branch or hub audits as needed.

Job Responsibilities

• Conduct regular audits and inspections of branch and hub operations to ensure compliance with company policies and SOPs.
• Monitor parcel handling, sorting, dispatching, and delivery processes to maintain service quality standards.
• Investigate incidents involving lost, damaged, delayed, or misrouted parcels and recommend corrective actions.
• Analyze operational data and identify trends, recurring issues, and areas for improvement.
• Prepare and submit daily, weekly, and monthly quality control reports.
• Coordinate with branch personnel and operations teams regarding quality-related concerns and performance improvement plans.
• Ensure proper scanning and tracking procedures are followed throughout the parcel movement process.
• Monitor customer complaints related to operational errors and assist in resolution.
• Conduct root cause analysis and recommend preventive measures to reduce service failures.
• Support the implementation of quality improvement initiatives and operational excellence programs.
• Perform other tasks assigned by management related to quality assurance and process improvement.
