What You Will Do

Test Planning and Execution: Collaborate with the QA team to understand project requirements and deliverables, particularly for self-service kiosk hardware and software. Execute comprehensive test plans, test cases, and test scripts to ensure system reliability and functionality.

Software and Hardware Testing: Perform detailed manual and automated testing of self-service kiosk applications, hardware components, and integrated systems. Validate system performance, functionality, and user experience across various testing environments.

Defect Identification and Management: Identify, document, and track software and hardware defects using established QA processes. Work closely with development teams to analyze issues, verify fixes, and ensure timely resolution.

Automation and Process Improvement: Assist in designing, implementing, and maintaining automated test frameworks to improve testing efficiency and coverage. Continuously seek opportunities to enhance QA methodologies and testing processes.

Collaboration and Mentorship: Partner with software engineers and cross-functional teams to improve overall product quality. Provide guidance and support to junior QA engineers, helping foster a culture of continuous learning and excellence.

Quality Reporting and Compliance: Analyze and communicate test results, contributing valuable insights for product improvements. Ensure compliance with eTap's safety, security, and information security protocols.

Other Duties: Perform additional job-related tasks and responsibilities that may be assigned from time to time, aligned with organizational goals and operational requirements.

Why You

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field, or equivalent work experience
  • At least three (3) years of experience in software and hardware testing
  • Experience in testing self-service kiosks is an advantage
  • Proficiency in test automation tools and relevant scripting languages
  • Knowledge of hardware testing methodologies and best practices
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with exceptional attention to detail
  • Proven ability to lead testing initiatives and mentor junior QA engineers
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills in a cross-functional environment
  • Passion for delivering high-quality, reliable, and innovative technology solutions
