Project Manager/Supervisor

Job Summary

We are looking for

an experienced Project Manager to lead the end-to-end delivery of DWDM/Optical

Network deployment projects. The successful candidate will be responsible for

project planning, execution, stakeholder management, quality assurance, risk mitigation,

and customer satisfaction while ensuring projects are delivered on time and

within scope.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead end-to-end deployment of DWDM/OTN projects, including site surveys, installation,

commissioning, testing, and customer handover

• Manage project schedules, milestones, deliverables, and resource allocation across multiple

projects

• Coordinate with engineering teams, NOC, OEM partners, vendors, and customers to ensure

successful project execution

• Ensure compliance with quality standards, ATP processes, and customer acceptance requirements

• Manage dependencies related to fiber readiness, rack space, power requirements, and

network integration

• Serve as the primary point of contact for customers, partners, and internal stakeholders

• Monitor project risks, issues, and change requests, and implement mitigation plans as needed

• Prepare and present project status reports, dashboards, and executive updates

• Ensure proper documentation, billing readiness, and project closure activities

• Drive continuous process improvements and maintain governance standards throughout the project lifecycle

Qualifications

• 5–10 years of experience in telecom, optical networking, or infrastructure project management

• Strong knowledge of DWDM, OTN, ROADM, MPLS-TP, fiber infrastructure, and optical network deployments

• Experience working with Ciena equipment and projects is highly preferred

• Proven experience managing multi-site deployments and vendor coordination

• Strong project planning and reporting skills using MS Project, Excel, and PowerPoint

• Excellent stakeholder management, leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills

• PMP, PRINCE2, or equivalent project management certification is an advantage
