JUNIOR QAQC ENGINEER

About the role

As a JUNIOR QAQC Engineer at SYC Philippine Corporation, you will play a vital role in ensuring the quality and integrity of our construction projects in Pasig City, Metro Manila. This full-time position will see you responsible for overseeing all quality assurance and quality control processes throughout the project lifecycle.

What you'll be doing

• Developing and implementing comprehensive quality management plans and procedures
• Conducting regular site inspections and audits to monitor compliance with quality standards
• Identifying and addressing any quality issues or non-conformances in a timely manner
• Analysing data and generating detailed reports on quality performance
• Collaborating with project teams to resolve quality-related problems and improve processes
• Providing guidance and training to construction personnel on quality best practices
• Ensuring all quality documentation and records are maintained to the highest standard

What we're looking for

• Degree in Civil Engineering or a related field
• 5+ years' experience as a QAQC Engineer in the construction industry
• Thorough understanding of quality assurance and control principles, techniques and tools
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to maintaining high quality standards
• Excellent problem-solving, decision-making and analytical skills
• Proficient in interpreting and applying construction codes, regulations and specifications
• Effective communication and stakeholder management capabilities
