QUALIFICATIONS
- Bachelor's Degree in Accountancy, Financial Management, or any related business course.
- At least two (2) years of relevant experience in accounting, bookkeeping, or finance support.
- Knowledgeable in basic accounting principles, payroll processing, financial reporting, and government statutory compliance.
- Familiarity with SBMA policies, procedures, locator transactions, and regulatory requirements is an advantage.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office particularly MS Excel and MS Word; experience with ERP or accounting software is an advantage.
- Strong analytical skills with excellent attention to detail and accuracy.
- Organized, trustworthy, and able to handle confidential financial information.
- Good communication and interpersonal skills.
- Able to work under pressure, meet deadlines, and manage multiple tasks.
- With good moral character, integrity, and a strong sense of responsibility.
RESPONSIBILITIES
- Financial Reporting & Audit Support
- Maintain and file accounting records systematically.
- Prepare a monthly summary of collections.
- Monitor DA Sublease requirements in support of bank loan applications.
- Process monetary commissions.
- Compute and summarize overdue accounts of locators, including applicable penalties for delayed payments.
- Prepare and issue financial correspondence, including letters for unpaid obligations.
- Participate in monthly management meetings.
- Prepare and release billings for rentals, management fees, and other charges.
- Receive payments from locators when the Accounting Officer (AO) is unavailable.
- Address concerns and respond to accounting-related queries.
- Prepare payroll in a timely and accurate manner.
- Process 13th Month Pay, government contributions, withholding taxes, and related obligations.
- Review and approve requests for supplies, budget allocations, and other employee-related expenses.
- Encode and maintain accurate financial data in the ERP Accounting System.
- Perform other duties and responsibilities as may be assigned by the Management to support ongoing operations and project objectives.
