About the Company:


Sagan represents a growing home services business focused on hiring high-quality local talent for field and sales roles. The team values speed, organization, and building strong hiring pipelines to support ongoing growth.


Position Overview:


Recruiter role is responsible for building and maintaining a pipeline of qualified local candidates while managing active hiring needs from intake through initial screening. The position also includes light HR onboarding support to ensure a smooth transition for new hires.


Key Responsibilities:


  • Build and maintain a database of qualified local candidates for future hiring needs.
  • Manage full-cycle recruiting for active roles, including sourcing, screening, and coordinating next steps.
  • Ensure fast response times and strong candidate communication (“speed to lead”).
  • Source candidates using platforms such as job boards, local networks, and online communities.
  • Conduct initial screenings to assess candidate fit and qualifications.
  • Coordinate interview handoffs and maintain organized records in the recruiting CRM.
  • Support onboarding of new hires in Gusto (offer setup, basic onboarding workflows).


Qualifications:


  • 2+ years of experience in recruiting or talent acquisition.
  • Experience sourcing candidates for location-specific or in-person roles.
  • Strong organizational skills and ability to manage multiple roles simultaneously.
  • Excellent communication and responsiveness.
  • Familiarity with recruiting tools, CRMs, and job boards.
  • Ability to work U.S. business hours (9am–6pm).


Nice-to-Haves:


  • Experience recruiting for home services, skilled trades, or sales roles.
  • Familiarity with U.S. hiring markets and local sourcing strategies.
  • Experience using Gusto or similar HRIS platforms.
  • Background in both recruiting and HR coordination.
