Penetration Tester

Role Overview

We are seeking a skilled and experienced Penetration T ester to join our dynamic team. As a

Penetration Tester at Spark Shield T echnology, you will be responsible for identifying vulnerabilities in our clients' systems, networks, and applications and providing actionable insights to enhance their cybersecurity posture.

Key Responsibilities:

• Conduct penetration testing on various systems, networks, and applications to identify security vulnerabilities.
• Perform both manual and automated penetration testing techniques to assess the strength of security measures.
• Develop detailed reports outlining identified vulnerabilities, their potential impact, and recommended remediation strategies.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to prioritize and address security issues effectively.
• Stay updated on the latest cybersecurity threats, trends, and best practices to continuously improve testing methodologies.

Requirements:

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information T echnology, or related field (or equivalent work experience).
• Proven experience in penetration testing methodologies, tools, and techniques.
• Strong understanding of networking protocols, operating systems, and web application technologies.
• Proficiency in using penetration testing tools such as Metasploit, Burp Suite, Nmap, etc.
• Experience with scripting and programming languages (e.g., Python, Bash, PowerShell) for automation and custom tool development.
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills with a keen attention to detail.
• Effective communication skills with the ability to articulate technical concepts to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
• Relevant certifications such as Certified Ethical Hacker (CEH), Offensive Security Certified Professional (OSCP), or GIAC Penetration T ester (GPEN) are a plus.
