Key Responsibilities
- Assist in the development and maintenance of digital and legacy applications under the guidance of senior technical leads.
- Contribute to custom software development, system integration, cloud migration support, and application modernization initiatives.
- Develop, test, and maintain application features and modules assigned within the project backlog.
- Perform unit testing, bug fixing, and code refactoring to ensure software quality.
- Participate in code reviews and incorporate feedback from senior developers and technical leads.
- Assist in preparing technical documentation, design specifications, and development guidelines.
- Collaborate with developers, QA engineers, business analysts, and project managers throughout the Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC).
- Support production issue investigation and resolution for assigned applications.
- Follow coding standards, development best practices, and secure software development principles.
- Participate in Agile ceremonies, including sprint planning, daily stand-ups, sprint reviews, and retrospectives.
- Escalate technical issues, risks, and design concerns to senior technical leads when necessary.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Software Engineering, or a related field.
- 0–2 years of experience in software development, application support, or systems development.
- Basic understanding of software engineering principles and object-oriented programming.
- Familiarity with the Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC) and Agile methodologies.
- Basic knowledge of application development using one or more programming languages (e.g., Java, C#, .NET, Python, JavaScript, or similar).
- Understanding of REST APIs, databases, and version control systems.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
- Ability to work effectively under close guidance and daily supervision.
- Willingness to learn technical leadership, architecture principles, and modern development practices.
