Senior Smart Contract Engineer

About the Role

We are looking for a Senior Smart Contract Engineer to design, build, test, and deploy secure smart contracts on Ethereum and EVM-compatible networks.

This is a remote role available for either full-time or part-time (20+ hours/week) engagement.

Key Responsibilities

- Design, implement, and deploy secure and efficient Solidity smart contracts on EVM chains such as Ethereum, Polygon, and Arbitrum.

- Develop and maintain comprehensive test suites using Foundry or Hardhat.

- Conduct security reviews and identify potential vulnerabilities and attack vectors.

- Perform gas optimization and contract analysis.

- Review smart contract architecture and participate in technical decisions.

- Document architecture and technical specifications.

- Stay up-to-date with Solidity, EVM, EIPs, and smart contract security best practices.

Job Requirements

- 3+ years of professional experience developing and shipping Solidity smart contracts to mainnet.

- Strong knowledge of Solidity and EVM internals, including storage and gas mechanics.

- Experience with ERC-20, ERC-721, and ERC-1155.

- Strong experience with Foundry or Hardhat.

- Strong understanding of common smart contract vulnerabilities and security best practices.

- Experience with at least two of the following: DeFi protocols, AMMs/lending, token standards, upgradeable contracts, or access control.

- Experience with smart contract testing, fuzzing, or security analysis.

- Strong English communication skills and ability to work effectively in a remote environment.

Bonus Skills

- Experience with Rust or Go.

- Knowledge of Layer 2 solutions and cross-chain messaging.

- Experience with ERC-4337 and account abstraction.

- Experience with zero-knowledge proofs or privacy technologies.

- Familiarity with Cursor or other AI-assisted development tools.

Compensation & Benefits

- $50-$90+ USD/hour, depending on experience, location, and technical expertise.

- Fully remote.

- Full-time or part-time (20+ hours/week).
