2. Executive Summary

EpochForge is a Web3 platform that allows communities, organizations, or individuals to issue and manage Achievement NFTs that are verifiable, dynamic, and upgradable. These NFTs serve as digital badges, proving participation, contribution, course completion, or other significant milestones on the blockchain. The goal is to build a decentralized reputation system that enhances community engagement through provable digital evidence.

3. The Problem

• Centralized Achievement Proof: Traditional certificates and badges are often issued by central authorities and can be hard to verify, making them susceptible to forgery.

• Lack of Decentralized Reputation: It is challenging for individuals to reliably showcase their experience, skills, or contributions across various Web3 platforms.

• Weak Community Engagement: Conventional badges or roles (like on Discord) lack true ownership and may not carry value outside a single platform.

• Static NFTs: Most existing achievement NFTs are static, meaning they cannot evolve or update based on user actions or milestones.
