HackX

HackX is a next-generation decentralized hackathon platform that empowers developers, creators, and innovators to build, compete, and showcase their projects transparently on-chain.

Built using Next.js, TypeScript, TailwindCSS, shadcn/ui, and Framer Motion, HackX delivers a modern, responsive, and immersive experience for both participants and organizers.

At its core, HackX integrates IPFS (InterPlanetary File System) and IPNS (InterPlanetary Naming System) through Lighthouse Storage, enabling decentralized project submissions and storage mapping.
This ensures that all hackathon project data — including code links, descriptions, and assets — are securely stored on IPFS and mapped persistently via IPNS, ensuring immutability, transparency, and censorship resistance.
