The Pit

The Pit is a prediction market you play like a fighting game. Instead of betting against an anonymous crowd, you go up against an autonomous AI fund manager we call the Pit Boss. You both draft a portfolio of tokenised stocks or crypto, stake USDG, and whoever's book is up more when the bell rings takes the pot. A round takes about sixty seconds.

THE PIT — Beat The Machine

What it is

You don't bet against an order book or an anonymous crowd. You go up against the Pit Boss, an autonomous AI fund manager, and the better trader over the next sixty seconds takes the pot. It's built on Robinhood Chain, with tokenized stocks on weekdays and a 24/7 crypto mode.

How a round works

1. Stake USDG and secretly pick 3 of 5 assets, weight them, and choose long or short on each.

2. The Boss commits its own hidden hand in the same window, so it has to draft blind. Commit-reveal means it can't copy you.

3. The moment both hands are locked, they flip face-up and the two books race in real time to the bell.

4. The contract reads the closing prices and pays the winner on-chain in a single transaction, in about ten seconds. Best return wins; if you're both red, least loss takes it.

Why it's agentic

The Boss isn't a scripted bot. It's a standalone agent that signs live prices, joins every open round, drafts against you, talks trash, and settles, with no human in the loop. Every win and loss is written to an on-chain Humans vs Machine scoreboard anyone can verify. Right now it reads Humans 2, Machine 1.

Built on Robinhood Chain

- Tokenized stocks (TSLA, AMZN, PLTR, NFLX, AMD) with a market-hours guard, plus a 24/7 crypto mode (BTC, ETH, BNB, SOL, XRP).

- USDG stakes funded through the chain's native swap router.

- A Chainlink Data Streams style signed-price relay feeds prices on-chain.

- Long or short on any piut never costs more thanyour stake.

Status

Live on testnet. Commit-r8 passing tests, anautonomous keeper/agent running both markets, and a web app plus Telegram bot. Settlement is one transac bell to payout.

해커톤 진행 상황

Everything here was built during the buildathon, from an empty repo to a live, playable game with an autonomous opponent. We started with the contracts. The core is a commit-reveal Battle contract that escrows USDG, takes both hands blind, and settles on-chain. It went through four iterations during the event: - v1: long-only portfolios, win/least-loss/tie/forfeit settlement. - v2: long and short on each pick, with a short capped so a 2x move wipes it but never costs more than the stake. - v3: reveal-at-start, so both hands flip face-up the instant the round begins, and you can watch them race instead of waiting blind. - v4: merged snapshot into settle so a round closes in one transaction, around ten seconds from bell to payout. Alongside that, we shipped: - A second market. Crypto mode (24/7) running on a separate relay with zero contract changes, on top of the weekday tokenised stocks market. - The autonomous Boss. A standalone agent that signs prices, counter-drafts blind, reveals, talks trash, and settles every round with no human in the loop. It survived real testnet RPC outages mid-round, and we fixed a gas bug live (stock price posts were being mined out of gas once L1 calldata cost was added in). - A web app (Vite, React, viem) with a live side-by-side P&L race, and a Telegram bot (grammY) so people can play with no wallet setup. - 48 passing tests, deployment to Robinhood Chain testnet, a combined landing page plus app on one domain, a logo, and a demo video. By the deadline, it was fully live and proven on-chain. The Humans vs Machine scoreboard reads Humans 2, Machine 1, and every one of those results is a real settled round you can verify on the explorer.

자금 모금 상태

Not fundraising. The Pit is a buildathon project, self-funded and built solo. There's no token, no raise, and no investors. It runs entirely on Robinhood Chain testnet right now. If there's interest after the event, the natural next steps would be a mainnet deployment and real stakes, but for now, the focus is on the build, not a raise.
