Description

60-80% of adults never create a will because it's too expensive, morbid or legal. This leaves families in chaos if anything unexpectedly happens. Afterly is a secure vault that helps people take the first step by organizing critical information and getting it to the right people, when they need it the most.

I built Afterly because my father died 5 years ago without a will and our family is still trying to resolve everything.

Traction: We launched 30 days ago. We have 7,100 on the waitlist, 900+ users on our beta product after going viral on social media. We've secured 2 first B2B partnerships: Prudential Life (global insurance company) and Azimuth Legal (global law firm).

Feedback & pivot: Users keep asking for insurance and estate planning, so we’re launching an AI marketplace powered by our proprietary data.

Founder fit: Previous CEO of Standard Chartered-backed digital asset custodian; technical and financial / GTM roles at Amazon Web Services, Morgan Stanley; and early employee roles - Didi (Uber of China) and Temasek-backed venture (sovereign wealth fund).

Progress During Hackathon

Hackathon outcome: At Founder House, I brought onchain attestations on Arbitrum One for our demo, giving families a tamper-evident record of their loved one’s wishes.

Fundraising Status
