Progress During Hackathon

Project Progress Report: AvaCertify Hackathon Development Completed Milestones: Front-End UI: The user interface is fully developed, ensuring a sleek and intuitive experience for users. Issue Smart Contract: The foundational smart contract for issuing credentials is completed but still requires additional polishing to enhance security and scalability. Comprehensive contract tests are currently in progress to ensure robust functionality. In Progress: NFT Mint Contract: Actively building the contract to enable secure and efficient minting of NFTs for credential management. Backend Framework for User Management: Laying the groundwork for a robust system to manage user profiles and interactions. Admin Dashboard: Developing features to facilitate minting and transferring NFTs, providing streamlined administrative tools. IPFS Integration: Establishing the connection between InterPlanetary File System (IPFS) and the backend, ensuring decentralized storage for certificate data. User POAP (Proof of Attendance Protocol): Creating personalized POAPs for early adopters to recognize and reward their participation. Next Steps: Finalize and thoroughly test the issue and NFT mint contracts for security, scalability, and efficiency. Enhance the backend framework to optimize user management functionalities. Complete admin dashboard capabilities for a seamless credential issuance and transfer process. Fully integrate IPFS with backend systems for secure and decentralized storage. Launch and deploy the user POAP feature, rewarding early users for their support. Fundraising Status

As of now, AvaCertify has not secured external funding. However, we proudly achieved 1st place in the Avalanche Codebase Pitch Competition held in February, earning a bounty of $1,000 USD. We strategically allocated 50% of the prize to AvaCertify’s development, ensuring continued progress and innovation, while the remainder was shared among the team to recognize their contributions and hard work. This milestone reflects the potential and vision of AvaCertify, showcasing its ability to stand out in competitive environments. We remain committed to advancing the project and exploring opportunities to secure additional funding for scaling and implementation.
