Croin
Croin is a token that offers conditional payments where the conditions can be written in plain English. It's a smart contract-powered escrow and credit management protocol deployed on the Robinhood Chain. It bridges the gap between rigid blockchain transactions and nuanced, real-world agreements. By combining an on-chain multi-token settlement engine with a context-rich off-chain dApp, Croin enables trustless peer-to-peer agreements governed by decentralized human arbitration.. It offers Letter of Credit creation in terms of the native token CR or USDG

Description
Croin is a fungible token and the integrated consensus protocol for conditional payments or credits.
It's targetted for urgent need of real life commerce through trade financing and project safeguarding. The business houses need to release the payment based on the terms (or conditions), and hold or cancel the payments if the terms are not met by the party. There is more than 9 trillion $ space for trade financing worldwide. The banks make trade financing (through Letter of Credit (LC), Documentary Collection (DC) etc.) offer trade financing. But that is much expensive, not available for all and has glitches in settlement. Croin offers same at a fingertip through a well tested protocol.
Croin is consist of the smart contract deployed on Robinhood chain and a dApp deployed at croin.org. An inferior version of Croin was deployed on Tron last year and its testing over the year by the actual business houses lead to need for certain refinements that we done in this version deployed on Robinhood chain.
Some crucial developments are changes in the smart contract for trigger_decision dust handling, & static quorum vulnerabilities, and some miner refinements in the dApp UI.
Most significant development (and a strategic pivot) we did during the Open House Buildathon is facilitation of the credits for USDG. Now the users have an option to pay in USDG while credit creation, in addition to CR, that seamlessly integrates with the trustees & ticker consensus. For the testnet the USDG address has to be separately defined by the setUsdgToken function.
Currently its deployed on testnet and very soon would be migrated on the mainnet. Our prior traction of Croin offers a good potential for this endeavor.
We have provision of 15% compensation pool for compensation to the clients due to price variation, if occurs adversly. We also have 10% of total supply as promotional pool that would promote credit generation and thereby adoption by real business houses.
Core Value Proposition of the Smart Contract
Context-Aware Smart Contracts: While traditional smart contracts can only execute based on math, Croin integrates an off-chain dApp to host plain-English terms, conditions, and real-time progress updates from both creditors and debtors. This allows the protocol to enforce subjective, real-world deliverables (like freelance work, physical goods delivery, or service milestones) on the blockchain.
Decentralized Arbitration (Ballotins): Locked capital is governed by groups of independent 'Trustees' rather than a centralized escrow agent. Trustees review the off-chain evidence provided in the dApp and cast their votes on-chain to trigger the release of funds, removing single points of failure.
Multi-Currency Utility Engine: The protocol seamlessly manages escrow for USDG stablecoins while enforcing protocol fees in the native CR token. This ensures deep utility and constant demand for CR, even when users prefer to conduct their underlying business in stablecoins.
Incentivized Fairness: Trustees are financially motivated to participate and resolve disputes accurately. The smart contract automatically splits the CR transaction fees among the active majority voters, system executioners (Tickers), and the protocol treasury, creating a self-sustaining gig economy for arbitrators.
Deterministic Capital Protection: The contract guarantees absolute finality with zero trapped capital. Built-in cryptographic safeguards automatically resolve expired validity periods or split votes by equitably returning funds to the original parties, ensuring no user is ever locked out of their assets due to inactive Trustees.
Immutable Snapshot Quorums: The protocol locks in the required voting threshold at the exact moment an agreement is generated. System admins cannot manipulate the outcome of an active dispute by adding or removing Trustees mid-vote.
Use Case:
Croin has 5 use cases:
Trade financing for international traders
Project safeguarding for service projects like IT services, construction etc.
NFT & RWA verification through on-chain consensus
A Boolean DAO yielding True/False output based on the terms and subsequent updates by stakeholders. This feature can be used by other dApps.
Settlement of disputes/bets
Commecial Scope:
We aim to address the 9.7 trillion USD market of trade finance worldwide, hoping to target 5% of that market. The stablecoin integration (USDG) offers a synergistic grows for USDG as well as Croin.
