Description
Daily Grind is an intent-based habit-tracking dApp built on Base. It pairs decentralized crypto incentives with autonomous AI verification to help users stick to their goals. Users connect their wallet and create "Grinds" (daily goals), locking in a USDC penalty stake via a smart contract. To verify that they actually completed the task, users upload visual proof (like a photo). Instead of relying on manual verification, Daily Grind uses Venice AI as an autonomous oracle to instantly analyze the image and verify completion on-chain. If the user succeeds, their streak continues and their stake is returned safely. If they fail, they lose their stake.
Progress During Hackathon
During the hackathon, our team built the entire end-to-end flow from scratch:
Smart Contracts: Developed and deployed the
DailyGrindVaultsmart contract on Base Sepolia to handle intent-based staking and penalty logic.AI Integration: Implemented the Venice AI vision model to act as an autonomous oracle, analyzing user-uploaded image proofs and approving or rejecting tasks in real-time.
Wallet & UX: Integrated MetaMask (including utilizing advanced permissions for securely locking funds) and built a fully functional, responsive Next.js frontend to tie the user experience together.
Fundraising Status
We are currently fully bootstrapped. This project was conceived and built specifically for this hackathon. Moving forward, we are looking to explore ecosystem grants and early-stage seed funding to help us bring Daily Grind to mainnet, expand our AI oracle capabilities, and grow our user base.
