During the hackathon, we started with building the core Solidity smart contract for the voting system — handling functionalities like candidate registration, voter authentication, and secure vote casting on the Ethereum blockchain.
Once the backend was in place, we focused on developing a user-friendly UI to make the system accessible and intuitive for non-technical users. With the help of AI-assisted tools, we rapidly designed and implemented a sleek Web3 frontend that interacts with the smart contract, allowing users to:
Connect their wallet (MetaMask)
Register and view candidates
Cast votes in real-time
Track vote counts (read-only view)
This AI-assisted development significantly accelerated our design-to-deployment cycle, allowing us to polish the experience and focus on functionality and UX.
