Description
This project is a Solana-based decentralized application (dApp) that demonstrates how to build and deploy smart contracts (programs) on the Solana blockchain. It showcases on-chain logic, transaction handling, and interaction between users and the Solana network using Rust and Anchor Framework (if applicable).
Progress During Hackathon
During the hackathon, our team focused on learning, building, and deploying a working prototype on the Solana blockchain. Here’s a summary of our progress: 🧠 Day 1 – Ideation & Setup Finalized project idea and outlined the core features. Set up the development environment (Rust, Solana CLI, and Anchor). Created the initial smart contract structure. 💻 Day 2 – Smart Contract Development Implemented the core program logic in Rust. Defined on-chain state and instructions for user interaction. Tested program locally using Solana test validator. 🌐 Day 3 – Frontend Integration Connected the smart contract with a simple React/Next.js frontend. Integrated wallet connection using Phantom Wallet and @solana/web3.js. Enabled on-chain interactions like sending transactions and reading data.
