GameQuest, also known as ChillQuest, is a multiplayer blockchain learning platform that gamifies the process of understanding Web3 concepts. It empowers crypto beginners to explore the blockchain ecosystem through interactive quizzes, challenges, and on-chain validation.
Unlike traditional educational tools, GameQuest transforms learning into a collaborative adventure, where participants can join rooms, solve tasks, earn hints, and compete in real-time. Every interaction is backed by blockchain verification, ensuring fairness and transparency while encouraging deeper engagement.
The platform integrates zkEVM proofs and on-chain verifiable learning to authenticate progress, making blockchain education both immersive and provably genuine. Through this fusion of gaming and learning, GameQuest aims to onboard the next generation of Web3 users in a fun, accessible way.
Progress During Hackathon
During the hackathon, the GameQuest team made significant strides toward building a functional prototype: Developed a Next.js + Tailwind-based responsive frontend. Integrated Solidity smart contracts for gameplay logic and wallet authentication. Implemented multiplayer room creation and participation flow with unique join codes. Connected the gameplay to the Base Network for transaction initiation and Polygon zkEVM for on-chain proof verification. Incorporated Groth16 proof generation and ZKVM-based verification, demonstrating how blockchain learning can be validated securely. Designed a token-based reward and hint mechanism to encourage participation and progress tracking. Overall, the hackathon phase established the core architecture — a decentralized multiplayer game environment that merges blockchain learning, gameplay, and proof validation in real time.

Fundraising Status
Currently, GameQuest is in its early development and prototyping stage, built during a hackathon as a proof of concept. The project is self-funded / bootstrapped and has not yet conducted any fundraising rounds, token sales, or grant applications. However, the clear utility in blockchain education, along with a scalable gamified model, positions GameQuest as a strong candidate for future pre-seed or grant opportunities — especially from ecosystems like Base, Polygon, or educational Web3 accelerators.
