Description

GoalCall is a next-generation Decentralized Pari-Mutuel World Cup & Sports Prediction Pool built natively on Injective, leveraging x402 HTTP Micro-Payments, Circle CCTP Cross-Chain Liquidity, Model Context Protocol (MCP), and Autonomous AI Agent Oracles.

Key Highlights:

⚽ Live Sports Data Stream: Integrated directly with the official football-data.org v4 API for real-time live fixture tracking, official team crest rendering, match timers, and scores.

💳 x402 Micro-Payment Protocol: Frictionless pay-per-prediction flow with HTTP 402 Payment Required challenges, eliminating complex multi-step wallet approvals for micro-stakes.

🌐 Cross-Chain CCTP Deposits: Predictors from Ethereum, Arbitrum, Base, and Solana can participate seamlessly using Circle’s Cross-Chain Transfer Protocol (CCTP) to deposit USDC directly into Injective pools.

🤖 Model Context Protocol (MCP) & Autonomous Oracles: Standalone MCP server exposing tool endpoints (get_matches, get_match_odds_sentiment, get_pool_status, settle_match) enabling AI Agents (e.g. Claude Desktop, Telegram/Discord bots) to analyze odds, generate broadcast commentary, and settle pools autonomously upon final whistle.

📊 AI vs. Crowd Sentiment Engine: Live split-probability visualizer comparing AI form predictions against crowd pool allocations to highlight market mispricing opportunities.

🏆 Gamification & SBT Badges: Real-time global ROI leaderboard, Soulbound Token (SBT) streak badges (Oracle of Lusail, High-Odds Sniper), interactive pari-mutuel payout calculators, stadium audio FX, and social prediction sharing.

Progress During Hackathon

During the Injective Global Cup Hackathon, the team built GoalCall from scratch to a full-stack, production-ready web application:

  • Architecture & Design System: Designed a custom dark-mode stadium design system using Vanilla CSS, Tailwind, Chakra Petch typography, and Framer Motion micro-animations.

  • Live Sports Feed Integration: Connected the api.football-data.org v4 API with continuous in-memory cache refresh and real-time Server-Sent Events (SSE) streaming (/api/stream).

  • x402 & CCTP Payment Pipeline: Implemented end-to-end x402 payment challenge generation, nonce tracking, CCTP deposit intent routing, and instant prediction ledger settlement.

  • MCP Tool Server & Agent Skills: Developed a dedicated Model Context Protocol (MCP) server running on JSON-RPC 2.0 (/mcp/tools, /mcp/call) alongside autonomous insight.js and settle.js agent skills.

  • Interactive UI & Sound Engine: Integrated Web Audio API stadium sound triggers (whistle, crowd cheer, coin drop), interactive stake sliders, live pari-mutuel payout calculators, and Telegram/Discord bot console simulator.

  • Containerization & Deployment: Built production multi-stage Dockerfiles and docker-compose.yml for unified single-container deployment.
