Hackathon Flood Control Project

During the hackathon, our team successfully initiated the development of a tech-driven solution for flood management. We began by identifying key challenges in flood prediction and response, then designed a prototype focused on real-time monitoring and early warning alerts. Key Achievements: Conducted rapid research on local flood data and risk areas. Developed a working prototype with basic alert features. Collaborated with mentors to refine ideas and ensure community relevance. Outlined next steps for scaling and real-world application. The project shows strong potential in helping communities become more resilient to flooding, and future improvements will focus on data accuracy, usability, and stakeholder partnerships.

We are now in the planning and engagement phase of our fundraising efforts for the Hackathon Flood Control Project. Our team has started reaching out to potential partners, sponsors, and community members who share the vision of building smarter solutions for flood management.
