Description

Halo is a programmable mutual aid fund built around MetaMask Smart Accounts and Advanced Permissions. Donors grant a scoped allowance instead of sending funds into a central pool. A Halo Master Almoner redelegates limited authority to specialized AI sub-agents: a Verifier for Venice/x402 verification work and a Treasurer for USDC grant payouts.

The project demonstrates how ERC-7715 permissions, ERC-7710 redelegation, EIP-7702 account upgrades, Venice AI, x402 payments, and the 1Shot Permissionless Relayer can work together to create a safer, lower-friction aid workflow.

Progress During Hackathon

Step 1 completed: Foundry scaffold and Halo Master Almoner caveat tests passing.

Step 2 completed locally: Verifier and Treasurer sub-agent payload builders added and tested. These contracts construct safe ERC20 transfer payloads without custodying user funds.

Next: wire the contracts into a Next.js backend, integrate MetaMask Smart Accounts Kit, then connect 1Shot relayed execution and Venice/x402 verification.

Fundraising Status

Not fundraising. Hackathon prototype.
