Description
Hawamoni — Collective, transparent money management for campus groups
Hawamoni is a group treasury built for students and small teams that combines Solana Pay, on-chain governance, and AI to make shared finance simple, auditable, and democratic. Members top up a program-owned treasury with fast, low-fee Solana Pay QR payments; anyone can submit a withdrawal request with a reason and evidence; and funds are released automatically once 60% of owners approve. Every request, vote, and executed transaction is verifiable on-chain and mirrored in the app, while SMS + in-app notifications keep members in the loop. An off-chain AI layer summarizes spending, flags suspicious requests, and delivers actionable insights so groups can act quickly without a full-time treasurer.
Key highlights
Solana Pay deposits into a program-owned treasury (fast, low fees)
On-chain approval workflow enforcing a 60% approval threshold
Transparent audit trail with transaction proofs and exportable history
SMS + in-app notifications for votes and executed transactions
AI-powered fraud detection and spending summaries to reduce disputes
Ideal for student associations, project teams/co-founders, and course groups — Hawamoni reduces trust friction, speeds decisions, and keeps campus projects moving.
Progress During Hackathon
KEY ACHIEVEMENTS 1. Solana Pay Integration – PWA frontend with full Solana Pay compliance, QR/URL generation, campus-specific flows (Split Bills, Group Dues, Payment Requests), and wallet support (Phantom, Solflare, WalletConnect). 2. Democratic Treasury Management – Rust/Anchor smart contract enforcing 60% approval for withdrawals, transparent request workflow, role-based member management, and complete on-chain audit trail. 3. Technical Stack – PWA built with Next.js 14 + TypeScript, backend powered by Spring Boot, blockchain layer in Rust, and AI microservice with FastAPI for fraud detection and spending insights.
