Hood Relief is a community relief pool. Someone in trouble a medical bill, a stolen wallet, a lost job, a house fire files a case describing what happened and what they need. The case opens for a five-day community vote. One wallet, one vote. If it clears quorum, funds are released from the shared pool and the payout is written to a public ledger with its transaction hash. No single case can request more than a set percentage of the pool balance. There is a second path that skips all of that: a direct campaign, where the creator names their own payout address and supporters send money straight to it. Hood Relief never holds that money and never releases it. The payout address locks the moment the first donation confirms, so nobody can build an audience on one address and swap in another. The project's home chain is Robinhood Chain, an Arbitrum Orbit L2. Donations are also accepted and verified on Arbitrum One, Ethereum, Base, Optimism, Polygon, BNB Chain, Avalanche, Solana and Bitcoin every transfer is proven server-side against the chain before it counts toward the pool. Members without a wallet sign in with email or Google and get an embedded wallet, because the people this is for are usually not the people who already own a hardware wallet. It is live at hoodrelief.com.

No single case can request more than a set percentage of the pool balance, so one large ask cannot drain it. There is a second path that skips all of that: a direct campaign, where the creator names their own payout address and supporters send money straight to it. Hood Relief never holds that money and never releases it. The payout address locks the moment the first donation confirms, so nobody can build an audience on one address and swap in another. The project's home chain is Robinhood Chain, an Arbitrum Orbit L2, where the project's token $RELIEF is deployed. Donations are also accepted and verified on Arbitrum One, Ethereum, Base, Optimism, Polygon, BNB Chain, Avalanche, Solana and Bitcoin every transfer is proven server-side against the chain before it counts toward the pool. 126 commits, from first commit to shipped product, all of it built in this window. Foundation: the React front end, a full Express and Prisma backend, wallet sign-in, an admin dashboard locked to a single permanent wallet, and governance rules: vote quorum, case reporting, voter history. Migrated to serverless on Vercel with Neon Postgres. Money integrity: moved the approval gate off donations and onto releases, which is where money actually leaves. Added server-side on-chain verification of every submitted transaction hash. Replaced the accounting figure with the pool wallet's real on-chain balance, showing every asset held. Capped any single case at 3% of the pool. Access: email and Google sign-in through Privy embedded wallets, with login signatures verified on-chain via ERC-1271 and ERC-6492 rather than assuming an EOA. Community: a feed with moderation built in, notifications, and direct messages with realtime that degrades to polling rather than breaking. Follows, search, public profiles, real URLs and rich link previews for every shared case and post. Multichain: deposits accepted and independently verified on eight EVM chains plus Solana and Bitcoin, each with its own verifier and Bitcoin gated on confirmation depth. Telegram bot: announces new cases, donations, vote outcomes and payouts, answers commands, and quotes the same pool figures the site does from one shared source. It reports only: it never votes or moves money. Direct fundraising: campaigns beside the pool and deliberately separate from it, with the payout address locked on first confirmed donation. Writing: a blog, including transparency reports drafted by Claude where every figure is computed from the database and handed to the model as a fact it is forbidden to recalculate. Nothing publishes automatically. Throughout: 15 database migrations, CI that replays every migration against an empty Postgres on each push, and a Vitest suite.

Seeking funding for the relief pool. Hood Relief has taken no outside capital, no grant and no token sale. The project itself is self-funded and the site is live. What we need funds for is the pool: the shared balance that relief cases are paid out of. Money that goes in is donated relief money, not project revenue. It is held separately from anything the project keeps, it can only leave to a case the community voted to fund, and every payout is written to a public ledger with its transaction hash. The pool is what makes the rest of it real. A voting mechanism with nothing behind it approves cases it cannot pay. We are asking for $20,000.00 to give the pool a working float
