Progress During Hackathon
We began by architecting and deploying smart contracts to power escrow-based payments and trustless interactions between patients and doctors. Once the contract layer was stable, we shifted focus to the frontend, creating an intuitive interface where patients can sign up, consult, and manage their healthcare journey. Initially, we planned to use Web3.Storage for decentralized medical record storage, but encountered verification email delivery issues that prevented account activation. We successfully pivoted to Lighthouse Storage, which provided reliable decentralized storage with seamless integration, ensuring security, privacy, and long-term accessibility for medical records. Each step moved us closer to delivering a fully functional, end-to-end telemedicine dApp.
