The Problem:
Academic publishing is broken. Researchers face "predatory journals" that charge high fees (APC) but offer zero royalties. Valuable research gets locked behind paywalls, and "failed" experiments are discarded, wasting data that could train AI models.

The Solution: JUDOL (Journal of Underlying Decentralized Open Ledgers)
JUDOL is a DeSci (Decentralized Science) DAO that transforms academic papers into Liquid USDC Assets on Arbitrum.

How it works:

1. Onchain Minting : Researchers mint their papers as USDC Assets.

2. AI-Agent Verification: Instead of waiting months for peer review, our AI Agents perform initial quality and plagiarism checks instantly.

3. The Two Paths:

   • Verified USDC:
     High-quality papers get a "Commercial License" (PIL). Authors earn royalties automatically whenever their work is cited or remixed via Arbitrum programmable IP layer.

   • Data Pool:
     Rejected papers or failed experiments aren't deleted. They become a "Data Asset" for AI training, allowing researchers to monetize even their negative results.

JUDOL creates a fair, on-chain reputation economy where every contribution is tracked, protected, and monetized.

Smart Contract & SDK Integration: Successfully integrated smart contracts on Arbitrum Sepolia Testnet to mint academic papers as on-chain assets on the testnet. IPFS Storage: Implemented Pinata for decentralized storage of PDF documents and metadata, ensuring content permanence. Neo-Brutalist UI/UX: Designed and developed a fully responsive frontend using React, Vite, and Tailwind CSS with a unique "Neo-Brutalist" aesthetic to emphasize raw data and transparency. AI Workflow Simulation: Built the "Reviewer Hub" flow where AI Agents pre-screen submissions for quality scores (SINTA prediction logic) before human validation. Marketplace Features: Developed the "Explore" and "Data Pool" interfaces to allow discovery of both verified research and raw datasets. Wallet Integration: Implemented RainbowKit & Wagmi for seamless wallet connection and transaction signing.
