LocalHero is a real-world quest platform that turns everyday actions into verifiable impact. Inspired by Pokémon GO, users complete missions like planting trees, helping neighbors, or exploring...

localhero is basically me asking a simple question…what if we stop wasting time on screens and start doing real things in the real world
so i built something like pokemon go but instead of catching creatures you do real actions…plant trees, help people, support local shops…and you actually get rewarded for it
the core idea is proof of action…you do something in real life, upload proof, and an ai agent checks if it really happened…then it becomes something permanent onchain
built on 0g, so the data, the verification and the rewards are all transparent and trustless
no fake engagement, no bots…just real people doing real things
the goal is simple…turn everyday life into a game that actually makes the world better
been moving fast on localhero during the hackathon…
got the core flow working: users can pick a quest, do it in real life, and submit proof directly in the app. the main focus was building the proof-of-action loop.
set up the basic quest system with real examples like clean-ups and supporting local shops. also built the first version of the hero dashboard so you can track points, streaks and impact.
started integrating the ai agent layer to verify user submissions. still early, but already working in a simple form to check images and validate actions.
on the 0g side, structured how proofs and results can be stored and made permanent, so every action becomes something transparent and verifiable.
next step is tightening the demo flow and making the verification feel instant and solid for the final presentation.
goal is clear: show a full loop from real-world action → proof → verification → reward
fundraiser status so far: 0 funding
no grants, no investors, no backing
just building, testing and pushing forward
still early, still raw…but the vision is there and the product is starting to take shape
proof > promises
