Description

Quintle – Quest in Mantle is a fully on-chain quest and bounty protocol built on Mantle, designed to solve one of the most common problems in collaborative work: lack of trust.

In hackathons, bounties, and grant programs, contributors often face unclear evaluation processes, delayed or missing payments, and unverifiable reputation. Quintle addresses these issues by moving the entire collaboration workflow on-chain — removing intermediaries, hidden fees, and opaque decision-making.

With Quintle, quest creation, reward escrow, work submission, evaluation, payment distribution, and reputation updates are all executed transparently through smart contracts. Rewards are locked upfront in escrow, guaranteeing fair payment once the quest is resolved. Contributor reputation is recorded as non-transferable Soulbound NFTs, ensuring that achievements are permanent, verifiable, and impossible to fake.

Quintle is built for Web3-native teams, DAOs, and builders who value transparency, decentralization, and verifiable contribution history. By making trust a built-in feature rather than an assumption, Quintle enables open, fair, and scalable collaboration on-chain.

During the hackathon, we built and demonstrated a working alpha version of Quintle, proving that trustless, end-to-end collaboration can be executed fully on-chain. We implemented the core smart contract system that enables on-chain quest creation, escrowed rewards, blinded submissions, transparent evaluation, automated payment distribution, and contributor reputation tracking. All workflows are synchronized using an event-driven architecture to ensure consistency between smart contracts and the frontend. To address privacy concerns, we introduced a blinded submission and reveal mechanism using IPFS, allowing contributors to protect their solutions during evaluation. Contributor reputation is issued as non-transferable Soulbound NFTs, ensuring that completed work translates into permanent, verifiable on-chain credentials. The protocol was successfully deployed and tested on the Mantle testnet, and validated through community testing and feedback from hackathon participants. This alpha build demonstrates that Quintle can support real-world, trustless collaboration without centralized control, and establishes a strong foundation for future extensions such as DAO-based governance and deeper ecosystem integrations.
