Progress Made:
AI-Powered OCR Integration:
We successfully integrated the Gemini API for Optical Character Recognition (OCR), which extracts text from document images, enabling the system to process document data automatically.
Blockchain-Based Security:
The project uses the NeoX blockchain to store document hashes securely using the SHA-256 algorithm, ensuring that the data is tamper-proof and immutable.
Entry-Exit Automation:
The system automates the identity verification process for entry/exit management, enabling touchless access control based on verified identity documents.
Web-Based Interface:
The front-end uses HTML5, Tailwind CSS, JavaScript, and Bootstrap to create a modern, responsive design, ensuring ease of use across devices.
Privacy Protection:
Only the hash of the document is stored on the blockchain, maintaining privacy while preserving the authenticity of the documents.
Scalability:
The system is scalable and can be extended to support various document types and identities, which will enhance its flexibility and adaptability.
Future Enhancements Planned:
