Description
Palissage is a real-world asset (RWA) platform for direct B2B wine trade. It tokenizes wine-lot allocations so independent wineries can sell directly to shops and importers, with fewer reseller layers and a shared record of inventory, payment and delivery. The aim is to improve buyer terms while keeping more value with the producer. Savings must be tested against the full delivered cost, including shipping, duties and claims handling.
The product
A winery records a wine lot, with one token unit accounting for one bottle. An authorised operator verifies it before add to platform. A professional buyer sees the payment asset, quantity, fees and terms before reserving. Full payment mints the bottle units; an optional En Primeur (wine futures) deposit reserves an allocation without minting until settlement is complete.
Buyer payments enter primary-market escrow. A verifier confirms agreed milestones before the winery can withdraw the released share. Eligible holders can resell through the secondary market, which routes a royalty to the producer. For delivery, bottle units enter redemption escrow and are burned when the buyer confirms receipt.
Why RWA on Arbitrum and Robinhood Chain
Wineries, buyers and operators need the same allocation and payment record. Contracts enforce bottle accounting, participant restrictions and settlement rules across those separate parties. Private documents, business onboarding, storage and physical delivery remain off-chain; their attestations and hashes connect to the public record. This connects tokenized allocations to a physical redemption workflow.
Arbitrum provides the EVM infrastructure for this shared workflow. Robinhood Chain is built for financial services and tokenized real-world assets; Palissage applies that focus to wine trade, from allocation and stablecoin settlement to resale and physical redemption.
What is running
Version 1.1.0 is deployed on Arbitrum Sepolia and Robinhood Testnet, with a React interface and Solidity contracts. ERC-1155 bottle units use ERC-7943-style transfer and enforcement controls. Each network has independent contracts and inventory; there is no bridge between them.
Official Paxos test USDG is supported with 6-decimal accounting on both markets. Published transactions demonstrate primary purchase, resale with producer royalties and delivery redemption on both networks. The wallet-free tour is explicitly labelled as a local simulation. All test assets are valueless and the lots are fictional; these transactions are software evidence, not commercial sales.
Buildathon work
Palissage existed before the event. The Singapore release added dual-network deployment, official USDG settlement, deployment and asset checks, persistent transaction tracking, security fixes with regression tests, and reproducible workflow evidence. Public manifests expose addresses, source-verification records and transaction hashes. The documented release validation reports 183 passing Foundry tests. This is an internal review, not an independent audit.
Next step
Prepare a bounded B2B pilot with independent wineries and professional buyers. Measure repeat orders, total delivered buyer cost, winery net proceeds, Palissage margin and delivery reliability. Independent security review and production onboarding are required before real-value use. Revenue is intended to come from transaction fees; producer royalties are paid to wineries.
