Astrovia is a story-rich, top-down puzzle adventure set in a fractured sci-fi universe where time and space have collapsed into chaos. Players explore stylized, handcrafted puzzle environments spread across three distinct worlds, each affected by dimensional instability and temporal anomalies.
You play as a mysterious cloaked figure, chosen by cosmic fate to restore balance by collecting ancient relics known as Bristonite Shards. These shards are remnants of an artifact that once held the universe’s timeline together. To retrieve them, players must solve increasingly complex puzzles using a combination of:
Push-box mechanics and pressure switches
Timing-based triggers and platform navigation
Time-themed puzzle design, including shifting platforms, disappearing paths, and memory-based traversal
The game also lays the foundation for a future Time-Jump Mechanic, where players will shift between past and present versions of levels to influence outcomes—a feature being planned for future updates.
Each level is designed to reward critical thinking and observation, with puzzles woven into the narrative and world logic. As players progress, they unlock Bristonite Shards—each representing a piece of the story and a mark of skill.
