RBD Shield is a trust and accountability protocol for autonomous AI agents on Arbitrum — built for a world where agents execute trades, manage liquidity, and control on-chain capital with no human in the loop.
The problem is real: AI agents in DeFi can fail, mis-execute, or cause financial harm with zero recourse for users. Off-chain reputation scores don't help when money is lost.
RBD Shield solves this by letting agents register on-chain, stake collateral into vaults, and back their own service-level agreements with real capital. When pre-agreed failure conditions trigger, affected users receive automatic parametric payouts — no claims process, no arbitration.
The risk-scoring engine runs in a Stylus (Rust) contract, delivering on-chain actuarial math at a fraction of EVM gas costs. The frontend marketplace lets users browse registered agents, view their bonded collateral, and subscribe to coverage.
This is not another agent bot — it's the financial primitive the entire agent economy is missing: accountability backed by skin in the game.
Deployed on Arbitrum Sepolia. Stack: Solidity + Foundry, Stylus (Rust), React/Vite, Wagmi, Alchemy.Built the entire protocol from scratch during the hackathon:
Designed and deployed the core smart contracts (agent registry, collateral vaults, SLA enforcement, parametric payout logic) in Solidity + Foundry on Arbitrum Sepolia
Built the Stylus (Rust) risk-scoring engine for on-chain agent reliability evaluation
Developed the full React/Vite/TypeScript frontend marketplace connected to live on-chain data
Integrated Wagmi + Alchemy for wallet connection and RPC
Shipped a live working dApp at rbd-shield.onrender.com
Wrote full test coverage with Forge and documented the protocol
Zero pre-existing codebase — concept, contracts, risk engine, and frontend all built within the hackathon window.
RBD Shield is currently bootstrapped — fully self-funded and built solo during the hackathon with no external investment. No rounds have been raised to date.
The project is at MVP stage and open to grants, ecosystem funding, or strategic partnerships — particularly from within the Arbitrum ecosystem. The Arbitrum buildathon is the first step toward validating the concept publicly and exploring growth opportunities.
