Description

Signal402 is a non-custodial market-intelligence layer for humans and autonomous agents. It ingests live public Polymarket data, provides a free probability preview, and uses x402 v2 payments with test USDC on Arbitrum Sepolia to unlock a structured AI report covering evidence, counterarguments, risks, assumptions, and an independent probability estimate. The production app is live at https://signal402.vercel.app. Signal402 does not custody funds or execute trades.

Signal402 builds on the earlier X402AiPolyMarket prototype. We thank the early project-team contributors whose work is preserved in the Git history, including wuyangfan, 123skkda, and zhaohaisen. They contributed to the pre-event foundation and are not members of this solo Buildathon entry.

Progress During Hackathon

Pre-event baseline recorded on Aug 31, 2026; none of the items below are claimed as Buildathon-period work. Signal402 already has a live Polymarket data experience, a server-side structured AI report, an x402 v2 test-USDC payment flow on Arbitrum Sepolia, fail-closed settlement tests, a deployed hash-attestation registry, CI, videos, and a production deployment. Substantive Buildathon development has not started. Work completed from Sep 14 onward will be recorded separately in a commit-linked changelog and this field will be replaced with verified in-window progress before final submission.
