SkillQuest is a Gamified Learning DApp that uses blockchain to disrupt online education. Users earn EduCoin for completing courses, quizzes and milestones which can be used to unlock premium content or buy resources. Teachers can create and manage courses while earning rewards based on student engagement. A staking system allows users to stake tokens for extra perks and a leaderboard ranks top learners and rewards them with more incentives.
Upcoming updates will include AI powered quizzes that adapt to a students completed courses, so learning is personalized. Interactive mini games will also be added so users can compete with each other in a fun way, to foster healthy competition and community interaction.
With a decentralized and transparent system SkillQuest ensures secure transactions, ownership of learning achievements and an engaging learning experience.
Progress During Hackathon
So far, SkillQuest has made significant progress. We have successfully developed the frontend using React and implemented wallet authentication, ensuring restricted access to pages based on user roles. Key features like course enrollment, leaderboard, and teacher dashboard have been designed and integrated into the platform. Additionally, we have implemented the EduCoin rewards system, allowing users to earn tokens for completing courses and milestones. The smart contract deployment is also completed, bringing blockchain functionality into our DApp. Moving forward, our next focus is on enhancing the staking system and refining the overall user experience.
