SolSplit is a decentralized application that brings clarity, trust, and efficiency to managing shared expenses. Splitting bills with friends often causes confusion, delays, and mistrust, SolSplit solves this by creating a transparent, shared ledger on the Solana blockchain.

Key innovations demonstrated in this prototype:
Trustless Payments: Instead of one person collecting funds, all payments go to a neutral platform wallet.
Seamless Web3 UX: Users enter amounts in USD, and the app calculates the SOL equivalent (via live price feeds).
Effortless Payments: Members pay through Solana Pay QR codes or Phantom Universal Links, usable with any Solana wallet.
Progress During Hackathon
During the hackathon, we built a fully functional frontend prototype from scratch. We implemented user registration/login, dynamic group creation and management, a multi-step bill splitting flow with interactive sliders, and integrated live price feeds for USD-to-SOL conversion. The app successfully generates Solana Pay QR codes and clickable Phantom links for payments on the Devnet. We also built out statistics and mock AI insight pages.
