Hackathon Progress Over the course of three days, our team rapidly iterated on INHERIFY, transforming the concept into a working prototype. Day 1: Ideation & Architecture - Defined the core problem of digital asset inheritance and formulated a trustless, decentralized solution. - Designed the Smart Will system with Normal Wills & Milestone Wills. - Mapped out the Solidity contract structure and planned Telos EVM integration. Day 2: Development & Deployment - Built and deployed the Smart Will contract on Telos EVM. - Implemented time-lock mechanics (ping() function, 10-year reset, 1-year cooldown). - Ensured secure inheritance logic, including anti-frontrunning protections and signature-based claim verification. - Conducted initial unit tests to validate contract functionality. Day 3: UI Integration & Finalization - Developed a basic frontend to interact with the deployed contracts. - Integrated wallet connection and will creation interface. - Finalized platform fees, inheritance scheduling, and security safeguards. - Prepared pitch materials and demoed the project to judges.
