Description
Ultramar is a next-generation exchange for tokenizing equity in high-growth private companies ($10M–30M+ revenue), built on the Mantle Network. Unlike traditional secondary markets which are illiquid and opaque, Ultramar uses an AI-driven Compliance Engine (The Oracle) that connects directly to trusted financial data sources (QuickBooks, Banking APIs) to publish real-time, cryptographic proofs of solvency on-chain. This "continuous audit" model enables 24/7 global liquidity and automated investor protection, filling the gap between crowdfunding and late-stage IPOs.
Progress During Hackathon
We have successfully deployed a fully functional MVP on the Mantle Sepolia Testnet that validating our core "Trustless Audit" architecture:
Live Infrastructure: Deployed SolvencyRegistry and AssetToken smart contracts that successfully verify and store on-chain proofs (Tx: 0xafebb...).
The Oracle (AI Engine): Built a production-ready backend that connects to QuickBooks via OAuth 2.0, computes live solvency ratios from raw ledger data, and cryptographically signs proofs for the blockchain.
User Interface: Completed a high-fidelity Next.js web application including a Portfolio Dashboard, Marketplace, and Transparency Monitor that visualizes the live data feed.
Validation: Secured early interest for pilots with companies in our target $10-30M revenue range. Gathered a MOU + Intent of Collaboration with 2 Mexican firms (Laundromat Chain + Wholesale Denim Factory)
Fundraising Status
We are actively raising a $2M–3M Seed Round to move from our Testnet MVP to a regulated Mainnet launch.
Allocation: Capital will fund the expansion of the core engineering and compliance team (10-12 FTE), Tier-1 smart contract audits (e.g., Trail of Bits), and initial regulatory structuring (ATS/Broker-Dealer partnerships).
Milestones: The round targets onboarding the first 10 issuers and achieving $100M+ in annualized trading volume within 18 months.
