SatsFi – AI Powered Onchain Banking on U2U Mainnet

SatsFi is an AI-driven DeFi assistant that simplifies blockchain-based finance. Built on the U2U Mainnet, it enables users to perform complex DeFi actions like staking, lending, or borrowing by simply typing plain language commands such as “Stake my U2U for the best yield.”

Traditional DeFi platforms are powerful but remain inaccessible to the average user due to technical complexity, high risk of loss, and intimidating interfaces. SatsFi solves this by combining natural language processing powered by the Gemini API, real-time DeFi analytics, and secure onchain execution on U2U.

How It Works

When a user types a message such as “Borrow USDT using my stU2U,” SatsFi interprets the intent using Gemini AI to understand the user’s goal.
Next, the platform analyzes live APYs, staking pools, and lending rates from deployed smart contracts on the U2U Mainnet to offer the best available strategy, balancing yield and safety.
Once the user reviews the recommendation, they confirm the action through a connected wallet such as Civic Embedded Wallet or wagmi. The execution happens through audited smart contracts, ensuring security and transparency at every step.
Finally, the results are shown on a clean dashboard that displays portfolio balances, staking earnings, and active lending positions in real time.

Progress During Hackathon During the hackathon, the SatsFi team successfully transformed the initial concept of AI-powered onchain banking into a functional prototype deployed on the U2U Mainnet. The focus was on building a working system that integrates artificial intelligence, DeFi analytics, and secure blockchain execution. Key achievements include: Deployed Core Smart Contracts: Successfully deployed the Staking Vault, Lending Pool, and stU2U Token smart contracts on the U2U Mainnet, establishing the foundation for staking, collateralization, and borrowing operations. Integrated AI Layer with Gemini API: Connected the frontend interface with Gemini’s language model to enable intent recognition, allowing users to type natural language commands such as “Stake my U2U” or “Borrow USDT using my stU2U.” Built Frontend Interface: Developed a clean, responsive Next.js frontend with real-time wallet connection using Wagmi and Civic Embedded Wallet. The UI allows users to interact with staking and lending features through simple prompts. Backend and Database Setup: Implemented a Node.js + MongoDB backend for storing prompts, AI responses, and transaction history, enabling consistent data tracking and debugging. Smart Contract Testing: Conducted end-to-end testing using Hardhat to validate transaction execution, yield calculations, and user balance updates. Deployed Working Demo: Published a live prototype with frontend hosted on Vercel and backend deployed on Render, allowing real-time interactions with the deployed U2U contracts.
