Wraith Messenger is a lightweight, secure, and anonymous messaging application designed for privacy-first communication. Built with end-to-end encryption and stealth features, Wraith Messenger allows
WRAITH is a cutting-edge, privacy-first messaging application designed for the dark web. Built with Next.js for high-performance front-end rendering and seamless user experience, WRAITH ensures anonymous, end-to-end encrypted communication between users. By leveraging Tor network integration, the platform conceals user identities, IP addresses, and metadata, making it an ideal tool for whistleblowers, investigative journalists, and privacy advocates.
WRAITH emphasizes security, anonymity, and decentralization, featuring encrypted message storage, ephemeral chats, and zero-trust architecture. The platform is developed with modern encryption standards and follows best practices in dark web communication to mitigate risks of surveillance, censorship, or data leaks.
🕐 Day 1 – Setup & Core Module Development Finalized Wraith's concept as a stealth-based ethical hacking tool. Set up project structure and initialized Git repository. Developed the Recon Module for stealth scanning using raw sockets. Implemented basic TCP and HTTP DoS attack scripts. Created a CLI interface for selecting and launching different attack types. Integrated basic AES encryption for secure command & control simulation. ⚙️ Day 2 – Feature Expansion & Testing Enhanced stealth in attack modules using randomized headers and delays. Implemented target logging system to capture and save live attack data. Ran successful tests on a local network using virtual machines. Added IP spoofing support for more anonymous execution. Wrote a basic README and prepared a working demo.
Currently, Wraith is in its prototype stage and not yet seeking active funding. However, we have identified key future opportunities where funding could significantly accelerate development: 💻 Infrastructure for secure cloud-based testing environments 🔒 Licensing for advanced cybersecurity tool integrations 🌐 Deployment support and cloud hosting for live simulations 👥 Community building and open-source contributions We plan to explore funding options such as: University innovation grants Cybersecurity-focused startup accelerators Sponsorships from tech companies Crowdfunding platforms like GitHub Sponsors or OpenCollective Next Step: Once Wraith reaches MVP with GUI and real-world test cases, we will prepare a pitch deck and begin applying to relevant programs.
