AgriSphere offers a comprehensive solution for farmers by addressing key challenges at every stage of farming. It provides access to nearby soil testing laboratories via a map, enabling farmers to assess soil health and nutrition effectively. Based on this information and real-time weather data, AgriSphere recommends suitable crops for cultivation. The platform also features gamified growth mentoring, engaging farmers in learning about plant growth and best practices. Additionally, it employs image analysis for plant disease detection, offering tailored pesticide recommendations. To support financial decisions, AgriSphere predicts crop prices based on location, helping farmers plan their sales real-time weather alerts and parameters, such as temperature and humidity, keep farmers informed, ensuring they can make timely and informed decisions. Overall, AgriSphere empowers farmers by integrating these vital resources into a single, user-friendly platform.
Progress During Hackathon
During this hackathon, our team explored GaiaNet, a decentralized network, enhancing our understanding of distributed technologies. We also focused on deploying machine learning models, gaining hands-on experience with scalable solutions. Our goal was to address **farmers’ needs* by understanding their challenges—crop management, market access, and sustainability. We integrated feedback from farmers to create a user-friendly solution. This experience sharpened our collaboration, problem-solving, and technical skills, allowing us to innovate and develop solutions with real-world social impact.
Fundraising Status
We developed AgriSphere, a one-stop solution for farmers, offering features such as soil testing, crop recommendation, price prediction, and disease detection. We have not raised any funds but have a clear roadmap for future revenue generation. We plan to monetize the platform through a points-based credit system where users can use earned points into money, incentivizing engagement. Additionally, we aim to partner with agricultural businesses and offer premium services. We are focused on scaling our user base and refining the platform before seeking external funding opportunities.
