eSusFarm is building the foundational RWA infrastructure for African agriculture on Mantle. We transform progressive smallholder farmer financing into tokenized, composable assets.

Our platform enables climate-resilient farming through stage-based financing (soil test → inputs → insurance → harvest) disbursed via WhatsApp and verified on-chain. Each completed milestone mints an NFT representing that financing stage, which can be bundled into yield-generating Agri-Bond tokens.

By bridging real-world agricultural impact with DeFi liquidity, we're solving multiple challenges simultaneously:

For farmers: Access to affordable capital using their farming activities as credit
For investors: Real yield backed by productive agricultural assets
For the ecosystem: Transparent, efficient capital flows to where they're needed most

Built on Mantle for its low fees and RWA-focused ecosystem, eSusFarm leverages our existing MTN partnership to scale across Africa's 100 million smallholder farmers. We're not just creating another DeFi protocol - we're building the financial rails for sustainable food security and climate resilience.

Progress During Hackathon

During the Mantle Hackathon, we will build and demonstrate a live, on-chain version of our progressive financing model, moving from our current demo to a functional RWA prototype on Mantle. Key Deliverables: Smart Contract Suite on Mantle: FarmerOnboarding.sol: Mints a unique Farmer NFT upon registration. MilestoneFinance.sol: Manages the 4-stage financing logic (Soil Test, Inputs, Insurance, Harvest). AgriBondFactory.sol: Bundles completed, performing farmer loans into a tradable RWA token (e.g., $esAGRI). Live On-Chain Interactions: A simulated farmer journey where completing a milestone (e.g., uploading a "soil test") triggers a verifiable on-chain event and mints a MilestoneCompletionNFT. Demonstration of capital flow: USDC is locked in a smart contract and automatically disbursed to the farmer's wallet upon milestone verification. Show the creation of an Agri-Bond pool from multiple successful farmer financings, showcasing the aggregation of real-world agricultural assets. Live Dashboard on a New URL (e.g., genfin-mantle.vercel.app): A new front-end that mirrors your existing demo but is powered by live Mantle testnet contracts. It will show real-time: Farmer NFTs minted, active financing stages, milestone completion status, and the total value locked (TVL) in the Agri-Bond pool. This functional prototype will prove our core thesis: that progressive agricultural financing can be structured as composable, yield-generating RWAs on Mantle, creating a new asset class for DeFi.

Fundraising Status

To date, eSusFarm has been primarily bootstrapped, supported by non-dilutive grants totaling over $273,000 from organizations including UNICEF, Expo Live, AGRA, BimaLab, and the Blockchain for Good Alliance. We have also raised $250,000 in angel funding. We are now preparing to raise our first institutional pre-seed round to accelerate product development, scale our telco partnerships (MTN), and expand our AI-driven Progressive Financing System across multiple African markets. Our goal is to secure strategic capital that complements our traction and amplifies our telco-led distribution model.
