Description
The ETH-SUI/BTC-SUI asset bridge is a cross-chain protocol that allows users to transfer assets between Ethereum, Bitcoin, and the Sui blockchain. It operates through "lock and mint" and "burn and release" mechanisms. Users lock their assets on the source chain and receive equivalent wrapped tokens on Sui. To return the assets to the original chain, they burn the wrapped tokens on Sui, releasing the equivalent amount on the source chain. Validators or relayers monitor and coordinate these cross-chain operations to ensure asset security.
