Description
This decentralized movie platform, powered by Linea and Pinata IPFS, revolutionizes digital movie ownership by issuing NFTs upon purchase, granting users exclusive access. If the NFT is transferred, neither the original owner nor the new recipient can access the movie, ensuring that each purchase is limited to one user, preventing unauthorized sharing and ensuring fair usage. To further enhance security, movies are encrypted using the CryptoJS library with a unique password and hash before being uploaded to IPFS, protecting the data from leaks or unauthorized access. Additionally, the platform uses Linea's blockchain to verify both publishers and content, ensuring that all movies are original and preventing plagiarism. By combining secure encryption, NFT-based ownership, and decentralized verification, the platform guarantees transparency, authenticity, and a trustworthy ecosystem for content creators and users alike.
Progress During Hackathon
Platform Setup: Built the foundation using Linea blockchain and Pinata IPFS to store movies and manage NFTs. NFT System: Added a feature where users get an NFT when they buy a movie, but lose access if they transfer it to someone else. Movie Security: Made sure movies are safe by encrypting them with a password and unique code before storing them online. Content Check: Started creating a system to verify publishers and ensure all uploaded movies are original.
