xbird is a Twitter/X API for AI agents.
Agents get 248 MCP tools (search, read, post, engage, DMs, lists, media) via CLI, MCP (Cursor/Claude), and a pay-per-call REST API. Auth is BYOA: users bring their own X credentials — xbird does not resell the official X developer API.
Payments use x402 micropayments: USDC on Base and USDT on X Layer (OKX.AI dual-rail). Live A2MCP ASP on OKX.AI marketplace (#3460).

During the OKX.AI Genesis Hackathon we:
1. Enabled dual-rail x402 (Base USDC + X Layer USDT) for OKX.AI buyers.
2. Registered and listed xbird as an A2MCP ASP on OKX.AI (#3460) — status: active / Listed.
3. Fixed A2MCP authorize so payment checks work over GET and POST (OKX review path).
4. Completed a real external purchase (sold count) and end-to-end paid search via Agentic Wallet.
5. Published npm package @checkra1n/xbird and skills repo for agent tooling.
6. Preparing #okxai participation post + demo assets for final submission.
Bootstrapped / self-funded. No outside fundraising round completed.
Revenue model: pay-per-call x402 micropayments (USDC on Base, USDT on X Layer). Product is live (npm, production API, OKX.AI marketplace listing).
