Network Engineer (Riverbed)

Responsibilities:

● Design, deploy, configure, and manage Riverbed Steelhead appliances and Cisco

routing/switching solutions to improve network performance and application acceleration.

● Monitor and analyze network performance using tools such as SolarWinds, ThousandEyes,

and The Dude.

● Troubleshoot network issues, identify bottlenecks, and perform root cause analysis to

minimize downtime and improve service reliability.

● Manage network-related incidents, problems, and change requests using ServiceNow

(SNOW).

● Perform routine maintenance activities and participate in on-call support rotations for critical

incidents (P1/P2).

● Develop and maintain accurate network documentation, including diagrams, configurations,

and operational procedures.

● Collaborate with cross-functional IT teams to support business and operational requirements.

Qualifications:

● Minimum of 3 years of relevant experience in network engineering and WAN optimization.

● Strong understanding of LAN/WAN technologies and enterprise networking concepts.

● Experience supporting production network environments and handling critical incidents.

● Must have: Riverbed Steelhead, RiOS, Riverbed WAN Optimizer (RS WAN Optimizer),

Cisco routing and switching, Network monitoring and troubleshooting

● Good to have: SolarWinds, ThousandEyes, The Dude and ServiceNow (SNOW)
