An AI-powered tool that converts long-form video content into clear, concise summaries. It helps users quickly understand the key points of any YouTube video without watching it in full. By analyzing video transcripts, captions, and metadata, the system identifies the most important ideas, highlights, and insights, then presents them in an easy-to-read format such as bullet points or short paragraphs.

The goal of the project is to save time, improve knowledge accessibility, and make learning from video content more efficient. It is especially useful for students, researchers, professionals, and content creators who want to extract value from tutorials, lectures, podcasts, and interviews quickly.

Tiến độ hackathon

During the buildathon, I’ve made steady progress turning the YouTube Summarizer idea into a working product. I started by defining the core flow taking a YouTube link, extracting the transcript, and passing it through an AI model to generate a clear and concise summary. From there, I built the initial backend logic to handle video parsing, text cleaning, and summary generation, ensuring the output is structured into easy-to-read key points.
