DeFi has a UX crisis.
Despite the explosive growth of Layer 2 solutions like Mantle, the average user is still terrified of onchain finance. They are greeted with complex jargon ("slippage," "impermanent loss," "liquidity provision"), terrifying interfaces, and a complete lack of guidance.

• Cognitive Overload: Users don't know which vault matches their risk tolerance.

• Cold Interfaces: Wallets feel like calculators, not companions.

• Lack of Stickiness: Most DeFi apps are transactional; there is no reason to return daily.

🚀 The Solution

Impala is a DeFi mini-app that radically simplifies the onchain experience. We treat financial health like a game and wealth building like a journey. By combining Google Gemini's AI with Mantle's low-fee infrastructure, we create a "Financial Companion" that guides users from their first deposit to advanced yield strategies.

Impala is not just a dashboard; it’s a risk-aware onboarding funnel for the Mantle ecosystem.

Unlike standard apps that just ask for a wallet address, Impala starts with a psychological risk assessment. We use Google Gemini to analyze user inputs (goals, reaction to volatility, timeline) to:

• Assign a dynamic Risk Profile (Conservative to Degen).

• Generate hyper-personalized welcome messages and "Daily Wisdom" from the Impala mascot.

• Filter DeFi vaults so users only see strategies that match their actual risk tolerance.

2. 🎮 Gamified Yield (The "Sticky" Factor)

We utilize gamification mechanics usually reserved for language learning apps to drive liquidity retention:

• Streaks: Daily check-ins to build financial habits.

• XP & Leveling: Users earn XP for diversifying their portfolio and holding assets longer.

• Quests: Guided missions (e.g., "The First Step," "Diversify") that hold the user's hand through their first interactions with Mantle protocols.

We strip away the complexity of underlying protocols (like Lendle, Init Capital, or mETH staking).

• Instead of "Lending Pool A," users see "Steady Saver" (Low Risk).

• Users deposit USDC/ETH, and Impala handles the routing.

• Frontend: React 18 with Tailwind CSS for a mobile-first, "app-like" feel.

• AI Engine: Google Gemini API (Flash 2.5) for real-time persona generation and contextual financial tips.

• Design System: Custom Lucide iconography and a warm "Sunset" color palette to reduce financial anxiety.

• Architecture: Component-based architecture ready for easy integration with Mantle SDKs and Account Abstraction (AA) wallets.

Impala relies on high-frequency interaction (daily claims, small incremental deposits, compounding).

• Low Gas Fees: Gamification (claiming XP, daily deposits) is only economically viable on a high-performance L2 like Mantle.
